Abortion in Switzerland
The film was realized by the Bieler working group of the Swiss Association for impunity of abortion (SVSS) during the campaign for the legalization of abortion in a German and a French version. It came to discussions in all of Switzerland used to inform about the situation of abortion. The law then in force explains that abortion is only permitted upon serious danger to the health of a pregnant woman and with the opinion of a second doctor. The consequent practice, which exposed the women of the arbitrariness and the risk of illegal abortion is denounced. In the German and the French version five women talk (in Swiss German) about their experiences in this regard.
